    Crystal Care

    At Anastasia Moon, we use natural, high-grade crystals which are sourced naturally and ethically. Natural crystals do vary in colour and size.

    • Before wearing the crystals, we recommend you cleanse them using the smoke from incense or sage to envelope the crystals. This helps remove any energy that may have attached to it since it was mined. You can also run them under cold water and asking the energy to be cleared.
    • We suggest you hold the crystals in your hands and set the intention for why you are wearing them.
    • To charge your crystals, use full moon for feminine energy or the sun for masculine energy.
    • Use sand or coarse sea salt to charge Selenite & Pyrite.
    • Try and avoid putting crystals in water for a long period of time.

     

    Metal Care

    Gold Plated Jewellery

    Some of our pieces consist of 18k & 24k gold plated pieces. Gold plating is a thin layer of gold that can tarnish quickly when worn consistently and when in water, wearing perfume and sweating. We recommend removing these items to protect the item.

    Gold Filled Jewellery

    Gold filled beads are usually made up of sterling silver or brass with a layer of solid gold applied over.  The outer layer is much thicker than gold plated. Gold filled can last for years as long as it is cared for. It if does get a little scratched, it usually can be cleaned with a soft brush and some soap.

    Stirling Silver 

    We use 925 sterling silver which lasts along time. It can be cleaned with a silver cloth. We also use Sterling Silver filled beads, which means it has a thick coating around brass beads, very much like Gold filled, it can last years when cared for correctly. 

    Silver Plated

    Silver plated can tarnish quickly when worn consistently and when in water, wearing perfume and sweating. We recommend removing these items to protect the item.

    Waterproof / Life Proof Jewellery

    Anastasia Moon uses 361L stainless steel which is then coated in gold. Stainless steel is a recyclable material which does not rust, scratch easily or oxide and is durable. It is also hypoallergenic.

    This range goes through the LifeGuard coating process which covers the jewellery in gold, using a vacuum coating, which is ten times stronger than gold plating. This process enables the jewellery to be lifeproof, by that we mean you can wear it all day, every day, in the swimming pool, sea, whilst sweating, spraying lotions and perfume on it. You can literally wear our life proof jewellery in confidence. This range will not tarnish or fade in colour for a very long time.
